My philosophy is "you are not broken."
ADHD (and other diagnoses) help us get to know ourselves. The more we know about ourselves, the better we can learn how to set boundaries and create systems that help us thrive. I work from a “brain-body” perspective, helping you understand how your nervous system and neurology shape the way you experience your life.
Have you tried talk therapy but it always felt like something was missing? Have you tried talk therapy but it always felt like something was missing? Working with me means we will explore nervous system dysregulation, anxiety, depression and/or relationship issues through an ADHD lens. This means we will specifically look at how your personal challenges are impacted or magnified by your neurodivergence. We are ADHD which means our challenges cannot be separated from our neurobiology.
Do you need help developing tools, techniques, strategies and interventions to more effectively do things like initiate tasks, accomplish goals and deal with distractions? We will work on executive functioning skills that help support your goals.
Do you have a history of trauma that’s affecting your life? Would you like to work with a therapist who specializes in trauma and neurodivergence? Living in a neurotypical world often leaves us feeling anxious and depressed. Using a somatic approach, we will work on nervous system regulation and boundary setting to support your neurology and physiology.
Would you like to help your child thrive with a neurodivergent brain? Is your child diagnosed 2E (twice exceptional)? We use the philosophy "change the behavior but don't punish the brain neurology." I will teach you more about ADHD/ASD and how to best support your child by connecting with them on their level. We can work at dismantling abelism and helping your child thrive on their terms.
